Meet Dr. Stephanie Hull, “Dr. Mama, NP”
Dr. Stephanie Hull, “Dr. Mama, NP” is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in the nursing field.
Stephanie began her career as a pediatric nurse, working not only with children in the hospital, but in primary care, and school nursing.
After some inspiration from a great friend and mentor, Stephanie pursued her masters degree in family practice, and became certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C).
After the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stephanie decided it was time to go back to school to not only pursue her doctor of nursing practice (DNP), but to simultaneously seek certification in emergency management and homeland security (EMHS).
Throughout her years of experience she has worked in primary care, urgent care, same day sick/acute care, wound care and hyperbaric medicine, pre-surgical care, employee health, and finally telemedicine.
Her passion is caring for patients, and simplifying healthcare to make it more affordable and accessible to anyone who needs it!
When Stephanie is not caring for patients, she enjoys gardening, exercising, going for long walks, the beach, and above all else, spending time with her family!
The name “Dr. Mama” is the brainchild of her daughters, shortly after she obtained her doctoral degree.
But wait, she’s not a Doctor!
The term "Doctor" is used by many different types of professionals, not just those in medicine and healthcare. Many specialized nurses, known as APRNs, have earned doctorate degrees- the terminal degree- so they're called "doctor". This is the same for psychologists, dentists, foot doctors, and other experts who are called "doctor". While Stephanie is called “Doctor” she maintains her specialized training in nursing.
Even though nursing and medicine are part of healthcare, their training and patient care approaches are different from each other when addressing various needs.

Provider’s Determination to Refer to In-Person Care
Upon reviewing your medical details, your provider may suggest an in-person consultation with a healthcare provider. In such cases, you will still incur a visit charge for the virtual visit, as medical expertise was required to make such a determination.

Dr. Mama, NP diligently safeguards your health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The guidelines of HIPAA dictate how healthcare providers utilize your medical, contact, and payment information. Rest assured, Dr. Mama, NP neither does nor will ever engage in the selling of your personal information. Visits will be conducted via a two-way video feed, and visit notes will be saved via an electronic medical record (EMR).
